The fabulous add-ons
We have some absolutely beautiful scrapbook projects for you to see today !!
April showers brings May flowers! My thoughts exactly as I was opening my design team package. This kit is so gorgeous with it's lovely floral and soft colors. I couldn't wait to get started!!
My first layout is based on Swirlydoos Monthly Sketch. I just flipped it to better match my photo. I love this shot of my youngest daughter, Delilah. She was Little Red Riding Hood for Halloween last year. Since I don't do much Halloween themed layouts I toned down the reds in the picture and made an everyday layout. The Coral Butterfly Embellishments are from my Little Scrap Shop on Etsy.
May Sketch
Sign....I love this picture of my daughter Clea. She was five years old when I took it and she'll be 15 next month. I can hardly believe it's been 10 years. I used the Dusty Attic April sketch by Nadia Cannizzo. Such a lovely design that fit my picture perfectly. The butterflies, Sweet Nothings, are my newest addition to my etsy shop.
The colors in this kit are so versatile. I went all out green with this page. Not a color I scrap often, but I thought the papers and embellies so pretty! I used my Greenlee Butterfly Embellishments to further compliment my page.
We're having a design team challenge this month. We are to create a masculine page using the kit. Soooo, this is my dude page! It's was fun to get my hands dirty and play with mixed media goodies.
My last project is a criss-crossed card. You ladies that scrapped back in the early 2000's remember this card style, right?
So, let's get started! Make sure to leave a comment on all of the blogs for a chance to win!!!
