Wistful Blues 2nd Reveal

~~IF you are looking for information regarding my LittleScrapShop Giveaway Please scroll down~~

Hi everyone! Today I'm sharing  my second reveal projects using Swirlydoos Kit Club August Kit, Wistful Blues.

This is an altered tray I made using the wood packaging the Prima Resins come in. I love that Prima does that because these trays are so fun to alter! I left the tray bare and just used some of the Inklingz that came in the main kit to color the edges a bit. Once that was dry I went to town embellishing the four nooks. Everything came from the kits except the bird, nest and butterflies. The little eggs  I made with paper clay.  You can find the Harmony Glitter Glass Butterflies HERE.

This is just a photo to show the awesome dimension.

As you may know, we have one of the best card makers around! Paulien has amazing and easy to follow tutorials on the cards she makes! For this card I used one of her tutorials that you can find HERE. This is the first round card that I've ever made. I really love the way it came out!

Good Sunday, friends! Today I’m sharing a layout I made using black lace, applique and lace flower from Tresors. I love to use dark embellishments for the dramatic look for my layouts. It's not easy to come across really dark laces that don't have a purple tint to them. So, when I got all my pretty trims from Lucy I was in awe of how gorgeously black that lace really is.

Here is a close-up of the beautiful fabric flower and applique in the background.

Here is close-up of one of my many butteflies, Rose Romantique, from my Etsy shop.

For your shopping convenience, I've linked the items I used to Tresors de Luxe Etsy Shop.

Tresors de Luxe Stick Pin Book

Hello all! It's my turn today to share my latest DT project for Tresors de Luxe. I made a stick pin book using canvas fabric and three different types of Tresor's trims. I made the book to be the width of the Venice Lace, which is about 4.25". Also on the cover are two of the gorgeous Chiffon Flowers. I used the colors of the flowers as the inspiration on the color scheme of the book.

Here is the book opened.  I layered the Italian lace and the Beaded trim to hold the sick pins. Along the top I used another Venice lace  and flower to complete the project. I used my Vintage Glasswing Butterflies  and handmade stick pins from my Etsy shop.

Swirlydoos is proud to bring you our beautiful August collection:

Wistful Blues

We have some absolutely beautiful scrapbook projects for you to see today !!

For this layout I wanted it to be a bit dramatic with girly grunge. I did some random punching and wet distressing for that grunge look. I added in some pink...because what's girly without pink :)

I love burlap! What I love even more is when the burlap has wire in it and can be sculpted in to a shape. That's what I've done here...so easy to glue down. I stuck two of the oversize safety pins and a tag to complete the look. The combination of the blue and cream are so sweet and I had the perfect butterflies from my store to match. Butterflies are always the last embellishments I add to my pages. I feel they just complete the page.

Here is my page based on the August Sketch. I used on photo instead of three small.....I'm a one photo scrapper :)
I handmade the vine to go around the top half of the circle and just glued the Petaloo flowers to the leaves. The butterflies, Nautical Romance, are from my Etsy Shop.

This is the monthly sketch. Be sure to enter our sketch challenge open to all!

Here is the amazing Main Kit

And check out these coordinating add ons that perfectly compliment our August scrapbook kit!

DT layout for Tresors de Luxe

Hello friends!  I have another scrapbook page to share using the gorgeous gold trim in Tresors shop. I've never used gold lace before and was a bit intimated. But, once I got the idea to go vintage with it, it was cake. I really love the finished product!

I misted the white spray and fabric flower with Prima mist to match the colors of my layout.

I used my Somber Beauty Butterflies from my Etsy shop to compliment the vintage look.
