BFS June Projects

Hello everyone! Angelica here today to share my June projects with you! Since being on the DT I've been using one paper collection each month. Well, time to mix it up. Today, my three layouts are from three different paper lines.

First up is my take on the June Sketch just flipping it. I used two papers Ombre Dreams Collection; Charlotte's Dream and Joyce's Dream.

I used the Beaded String Chippy to further embellish my title. I used the word "Smile" for the Laughter, Happy, Smile set. The cute little dragonfly is from my Etsy Shop.

I used the Circle Vine chipboard piece to hold my photos.

For this page I used Boudoir from the Blue Fern Garden collection as my background. I fussed cut the Wisdom paper from the Montage Collection and matted my photo.

I really don't do much to my chipboard pieces. Just some thick gesso and mists.  Here I used the Estate Railing piece.
One of my favorite chippies are the Roman Clock Sets. Here I used the Large Set. The Plush Butterfly embellishments are from my Little Scrap Shop.

Last but not least, I used the Love Story Collection. My daughter loves Alice in Wonderland so I made this for her. This line was perfect! I used the True Harmony, Twenty One, and Amazing Heart papers.
I used the Queen of Hearts piece for my title and Heart Crowns as embellishments.
The Card Suit Melody chippy is so unique! Love it! The Scarlett Butterflies are from my Etsy Shop.

Well, I hope that you've enjoyed my projects for June! I will be back in August for I'm breaking for July!

Swirlydoos May Kit, Spring Chic

Hi everyone! The time has finally come to share my May projects using the gorgeous, girly girl "Spring Chic" Kit. I loved the pretty pinks and teals! Definitely a spring kit!

For my first project is my take on the sketch. I just flipped it to better accommodate my one photo. The dragonflies are something I created to match the kit. You can find them at my Little Scrap Shop on Etsy.

 May Sketch

Pink Pink and more Pink! LOL! I really liked that saying on one of the papers. I wanted to be sure to use it as a focal point over my photo. I also digitally created these dragonflies. Another new addition to my Etsy Shop.

The colors of this kit got me thinking of a tea party. So, I made one of my Teapot Stickpin Holders.
Lastly, I made an altered clipboard as a birthday gift for my daughter's best friend. I'm hoping they will grow up together because they're just the sweetest friends. The photo can be replaced with a new one as time progresses.

Blue Fern Studios June Sketch

Welcome to June everyone!  It's time for us to reveal our June sketch challenge!  Our sketch designer, Michele Singh, has created this sketch for us:

Now it is YOUR turn to show us how you used the June sketch.
One lucky winner, selected by a random draw, will receive a prize package of Blue Fern Studios chipboard!

In addition, we will also select 3 (or more) layouts to feature.
We have just a few simple rules to follow if you would like to participate in our sketch challenge:

1.) Feel free to interpret the sketch as you please by means of taking it as-is or
flipping/turning/mirroring it to suit your needs!

2). Please note that you can do whatever type of project you please - a layout, card,
canvas, altered item- whatever suits your mood and style!
We would love to see the different ways our sketch can be used.

3.) You must use at least one piece of Blue Fern Studios chipboard OR use Blue Fern Studios paper on your project. Please note that you do not need to use the pieces featured in the sketch
- use whatever suits your fancy! You can find the store nearest you HERE.
 {Do not use any other brand of chipboard on your project please!}

4.) Upload your project using the Blue Fern Studios Blog by midnight EST on June 30, 2015

We look forward to seeing how you use our sketch and Blue Fern products!
