Admire..."faux vine"

So, all Prima flowers come without wire stems. You know, flat in the back. Instead of just placing them on the page, like I always do, I wanted to make a vine with them. This is when a "faux" vine came to mind.

Basically, all I did was wrapped a 13 in wire with floral tape, twirled it around a paint brush and made separate swirls. Attached the "branch" to the page with tacky glue then just placed the flower and leaves on top of the branch.

Here is a close-up of the swirls. This was so much faster to do instead of attaching all the pieces.

I had to get a close-up shot of the butterflies that I have at my esty. They add the perfect finishing touch.

More from Swirlydoos

The Bejewled Kit came with so much great stuff. This time I went with the pinks instead of purple. Teari and Clea have had these flower head pieces for years. So, I HAD to get a picture with my three girls each wearing one.

The background of this page is corrugated cardboard. I tore off the first layer and applied gesso. While the gesso was still wet, I sprayed the cardboard with glimmer mist. Right after, I sprinkled glitter. Once it was all dried everything adhered.

I added Stickles to the flowers,

the title letters and circle.

It's super sparkly IRL!!!

Eyes of Truth

I titled this layout after one of my favorite songs from Enigma. The look in Nefferteari's eyes is so deep and I thought the title ideal. This is made up of Swirlydoos kit Bejweled.

I inked the Prima Say it with Pearls with Smooch.

To the Prima vine I added some of my own flowers to bring out the rich purples. You can fine the flowers at my etsy http://www.angelicafranssen.etsy.com/

I inked the dew drops with Smooch and heated. I also added stickles to the title, ring and butterfly. I cut out the butterflies from a different Prima pattern paper.
Thanks for taking a peek!!

The secret garden

I did this layout with the recent Swirlydoos Kit Bejewelled. This has to be my all time favorite kit. It has all the new Prima and it's purple...lol!!!!
This is Nefferteari posing for the camera. We were bored one day, so, we played with my make-up then did a photo shoot. Right when I saw this pattern paper I knew this would be the perfect photo.

With these cute little Prima flowers, I dusted Perfect Pearls to give them a fairy dust look. I did the same with the punched butterflies.

I in twined the two different Prima Holiday Lights and added some of my own crystals inspired by my friend Gabi.

I cut the gate from the pattern paper and place a faux "gate lock". Then the title came to me The Secret garden.

Thanks for taking a look!!
