These are my girls Christmas 2008. When Delilah was just 4 weeks old....sigh...time??!! I used the DecemberSwirlydoos Kit along with some of my own stash and handmade embelliz.
Now, if your make your own flourishes, you know that you can't use stickles. The dots will just pop off when you try to detail your flourish. So, what I have discovered is when your puff paint is still wet, sprinkle glitter on it. Let dry. Gorgeous results. I also used this technique a few months back onthis scrapbook page.
Using the same red glitter , I made the butterflies.
I added red stickles to the brown 'frame' of the Webster's Pages patterned paper. Today we learned that red glitter can go a long way...LOL!!! Thanks for visiting!!
My Delilah....she looks so much like me when I was her age. She has the biggest brown eyes that absolutely melt my heart. Now that she's 13 months old she walks around like a "drunken sailor"...heehee!!! I never used this color combination before. Peach just isn't my color....but how I love the results~~
I made the layered flower by using my Slice and the left over scraps from the Basic Grey pattered paper. I cut the flowers out in different sizes and stacked them. Then, sprayed with Glimmer Mist (pearl) to add the extra shimmer.
I made these little roses by stacking and squishing Got Flowers? Prima Flowers. Then, again, sprayed them with Glimmer Mist.
Just a close-up of my handmade butterfly. I put the Prima Pearls in the center for the body.
As many of you know this is my Nefferteari. She's 11... almost 12. She is a real sweetheart, but at times she does get that little sass in her. I found the polymer clay skulls at a little shop at etsy. (I LOVE ETSY If you have a shop leave your shop name in your comment so I can check it out!!)
I'm sorry about this terrible photo. Bad lighting due to snow in the VALLEY!!
Anyways, I made the rolled roses myself! I sprayed them with Glimmer mist(which you can't see)
ZVAbling!!!!!!! These self adhesive crystals are gorgeous. And they are so easy to apply!!
I am excited to be a part of the Zva Creative DT! We are joining together today to share a Christmas or Holiday Tag that we each created showcasing the beautiful products that Zva has to offer. I am hoping that you will take some time to join us in a little bit of fun!
The Blog Hop begins at Kim Hughes' blog Paper HugsShe is linking to one of the designers and that designer is linking to the next and so on. There are 12 design team members, so be prepared to be inspired along the way. Hidden on 5 of the blogs is a Zva Creative prize package! Those blogs will be randomly chosen after the hop is over, so it's important to leave a comment on as many blogs as you can. Our team is so wonderfully diverse, so we are hoping that you will discover a talent that you have not been aware of.
This Blog Hop runs through midnight on Tuesday, December 8th and the 5 winners will be announced on Wednesday, December 9th. We will do our best to notify each winner, but it's best if you can pop in to all of the blogs once again on Wednesday...plus, you never know what kind of inspirational creation that you may find there. All you need to do is leave a comment on this Zva Blog Hop post...you do not need to leave a comment on each and every designer's blog post to qualify. The more times you leave a comment along the blog hop path though, the more chances you will have to be one of the lucky winners.
Hello all!! Hopefully you all had a safe and filling (in love and food..lol) Thanksgiving!!! I just want to share my latest DT layout for ZVA. Sweet This is Delilah when she was ten months old. She's always a happy baby!! For the title, I inked the clear rhinestones with green alcohol ink to match the green flourishes.
I used the gorgeous green rhinestone flourishes.
I loaded up the bottom of the page with the oh-so-pretty blue and white roses.
In the little tears at the top I added the green roses.
My sweet little Delilah turned one this past weekend. It really is true, they grow so fast. She isn't walking yet...just taking a few steps here and there. She is so lovable...she gives lot of hugs and kisses. She gets so sad when one of the other kids are crying and wipes away the tears. She has a heart of gold!!! I did a birthday photo shoot. No way am I a photographer, but I think I did an okay job. It was so hard to get her to stay still so we were giving her candy...lol!! Here hair is a little messing because she kept pulling off the headband. This is the photo that we are passing out to the family. My little doll!!!
I just love her chubby cheeks and her beautiful brown eyes!!!!
Her she is getting ready to dig into her cake. She loves Tinkerbell!
BESO This is a page that I did a few days ago. I used one of her photos from the "shoot". I made the butterflies from an old scrapbook paper. I love the softness of this page...usually my pages are a little darker in tone.
Mermaidia Delilah as a Mermaid for Halloween. I've had this DCWV paper pack for years and haven't used it. I think it worked out perfectly for this photo. I used lots of Prima Pearls and the strands and pins are from my stash. I sold out of the strands at my etsy, but you can find the pearl pins.
