Butterfly Dreams

Butterfly Dreams

I did this page with the March Swirlydoos Kit Butterfly Whispers. The kit this month is soooo beautiful. Full with lots of NEW Prima Flight of Fancy Line.

This is my oldest and youngest daughters taking a nap. Nefferteari was putting Delilah down for a nap and feel asleep with her. Cleapatra was napping with them too, but when she heard me turn the camera on she woke up. Guess, she's a light sleeper like her mommy!!

I cut the butterflies out from one of the pattern papers. I stickled and added pearl bodies. With the left over scraps I punched out some butterflies that I used along the bottom of the page and for future use.

This stick pin was in the embellishment add on kit. I didn't get the add on but Mandy was sweet enough to send me a pair. Thanks Mandy!!!

For the title I used my cricut. I also stickled the letters.

New items at my Esty

It's been awhile since I did a post about items I have at my ETSY. Since I worked so hard I wanted to share. I'm excited to introduce my "Fairy Ring" embellishments. Awhile back I did a page with a ring of flowers. I got a lot of sweet feed back and thought I would love to bring this to other scrapbookers already made. Since it can be a little time consuming. Here are just two photos....I have a total of 18 different colors at my shop.

I like to call this one Over the Rainbow
This one is my fav!! It's called Plum Passion.

I also jumped on the stick pin bandwagon. Right now I have 14 different design and colors at my shop. All of the beads are glass. Here are just a few photos.
I found this cute little Tea Pot Bead caps!! So adorable!!

This one is my fav. Hmmm....it's purple!! LOL!!

More Prima

Hope you all had a sweet Valentines Day. I loved that it was a long weekend. I was able to spend lots of time with the kids AND scrap!!

This time around I used the Shabby Chic line from Prima. Man, it is sooo hard to cut up this paper...it's to freakin pretty!!

I love the look of peek-a-boo tears. To achieve this look is simple. What I do is cut triangles out, wet the edges with a q-tip, bend and roll then just ink.

Just a close -up in the new flowers from Prima. PRETTY!!

With all the butterflies that I have I couldn't find one that matched the layout to my liking. So, I just used a Martha Stewart Butterfly punch. I punched from the pattern paper and added stickles and pearls. Came out perfect!

Beautiful new Prima

I have to admit, I was totally stalking all the online shops for the new Prima. I swear, Prima just gets better and better. And ever year I have to have it!!!!!! Here I use one of their new lines Water Color Rainbow. Soooo pretty!!!

CUTIE
This is my sweet Delilah with her little water fountain hair-do...lol!! Doesn't she have the cutest smile?!

For the scalloped border, I uses decorative scissors all the way around and a small hole punch. Then, inked and folded some of the edges.

I'm so in love with all the new flowers. So yummy!!

I uses the same technique as the border on the strip.

*ZVA* and Swirlydoos

February Swirlydoo's Kit, With love from Venice, is GORGEOUS. I expected pink, red and hearts for Valentines Day. Krissy went with a more non- traditional color scheme that I just love. I also used the monthly sketch from Begunna that's exclusive for the kit.

So, I created this layout with the kit, but added some Zva Pearl Flourishes.

Little Ones
Elijah and Delilah are two peas. He is her protector and she loves him to bits. My youngest two, hence, my little ones.

I made the flowers from a tutorial Lisa did over at Swirlydoos that you can fine HERE. So easy to do and soooo pretty!!

Here is a close-up of the Zva flourishes

I made the butterflies from a Martha Stewart Punch. I just layered two, connected at the bodies, so I could give the top wings a lift.
