Swirlydoos June Reveal and Blog Hop

Welcome to Swirlydoos' June Kit Reveal Blog Hop Block Party!!
If you came here from Swirlydoo's blog, then you are on the right track. We have some amazing projects for you to see today !! Make sure to leave a comment on all of the blogs for a chance to win!!! Check out Swirlydoos on Facebook and Like Us!!!
I love the pretty paper from Kasiercrafts! Especially the sheet with the foil butterflies!! Of course I had to fussy cut those babies out!
So, with all the  grungy base coat papers in the kit, I wanted to make a masculine page. We recently went down to California, after a year and half, to visit family. For my son's 9th birthday my dad surprised Elijah with this truck. My dad is building it to give to him when he gets his drivers licences in six years....lol! My dad is almost 70, so it'll take that long to get it completed...hehee!! Elijah was totally excited and had me take TONS of pictures. Which I was more than happy to do :)
The kit came with a 12x12 cardboard. I stripped it and painted it with black gesso. When it was dry I smothered molding paste in some area for textures. Then, I sprayed with a bunch of different mist.

This is my page based on the June sketch. I don't do to well with negative space... I love stuff...lol!! So, I went with a few distressed layers for a fill in.

Here is the exclusive monthly sketch. Isn't it a cool one!!

You have until midnight, eastern time, on Tuesday 6/4 to complete the hop. Winners will be announced on the Swirlydoos Blog on Wednesday 6/5. In order to qualify to win here is what you need to do:
1: Visit all of the blogs and leave a comment on each. This way we know you were there. Become a follower if you're not already. Take your time. There are REALLY beautiful things to see along the way.
2: Before you leave each blog, look for the “special” words and write it down.
Once you have visited all the blogs and collected all the special words, they will create a sentence.
3: Finally, go back to the Swirlydoos blog and leave a comment letting us know how much fun you had, tell us the sentence that was created with all of the special words you collected.
Can't wait to hear from you.

My special word is : EVER
The party continues over at Vicky's blog. Have fun!
Here is the A*M*A*Z*I*N*G collection of "Brass Shilling"!! Be sure to head over to the Swirly Boutique to get your fabulous kit!!

I'm in love with every one of your layouts this month, but I keep on going back to the masculine one in the middle; it's so deliciously grungy and the story behind it is awesome!!!!!
