Swirlydoos 2nd reveal, Madame Kit

Hello scrappy friends! I'm posting today my last two layouts using the July Swirlydoos Kit, Madame.
This was such a great kit to work with. The three pages I did for reveal were mostly the teal and peach. I wanted to go in a different direction this time around.

For this page, I was inspired by the cardstock add-on. It had this lovely shade of lavender cardstock that I just had to use. I thought it matched the roses in the pattern paper and I just went with it.
The butterflies are my newest addition at my Etsy shop. You can find them HERE along with lots of other butterflies in just about any color and other gorgeous handmade embellies!

I love the look of the Sunrise-Sunset Collection from Prima. It's so pretty....reminds me of Orange Sherbert ice cream. But, man oh man was it hard to work with. I kept getting pulled to orange and orange is my least favorite color to work with. Finally, after fiddling with it what seemed like forever, I said forget it and used pink as my main color. Then. I was able to finish it pretty fast! :0)

Thanks for taking a peek! Until my next post.....

gorgeous layouts! I too love the Sunrise-Sunset line but found it really hard to work with! I wouldn't have been able to tell you had a hard time with it though since your layout turned out amazing!
