We have some absolutely beautiful scrapbook projects for you to see today !!
For my first layout I used the Acetate Paper as the background over a pattern paper. I used lots of pretty flowers from the flower add-on and a few embellies from the Embellishment add-on. I love to use doilies for layering. They are so easy to color. For this doily I used some light mist and the Mica powder from the Medium add-on.The Sea Foam Butterflies are from my Etsy Shop.
I really loved the design on the Gear pattern paper, but it was a bit bright. So I did some white washing with gesso then some masking. When using clock chippies I usually cut off the piece that is tucked behind something and place the other piece in a different spot. It's a good way to getting more use out of your chippies. The clock are from the Embellishment Add-on. One of my favorite Blue Fern Studio pieces. The Teal Dragonflies are one of my newest dragonfly embellishments.
I used the softer colors for this page. But wanted to pop third color. So I used my Mint Chip butterflies to do just that! The Prima Metal Pieces that come in the Main Kit are awesome! I painted them with gesso and misted to better match my layout.
Did some paper layering with 3 of the pattern papers. Plus some pieces cut from the Hour Glass paper. When I die cut from a thin pattern paper(like I did here with the Clock paper) I usually also cut the same design from a box. This way when you layering them they aren't so flimsy. Here I used my Sepia Butterflies. Another great match!
This is my take on the sketch. Went masculine here, something that's hard for me to do. Used lots of goodies from the Medium Add-on.
Here is the sketch. Be sure to play along in our sketch challenge. Anyone can enter.
