Swirlydoos is proud to bring you our beautiful August collection:

Wistful Blues

We have some absolutely beautiful scrapbook projects for you to see today !!

For this layout I wanted it to be a bit dramatic with girly grunge. I did some random punching and wet distressing for that grunge look. I added in some pink...because what's girly without pink :)

I love burlap! What I love even more is when the burlap has wire in it and can be sculpted in to a shape. That's what I've done here...so easy to glue down. I stuck two of the oversize safety pins and a tag to complete the look. The combination of the blue and cream are so sweet and I had the perfect butterflies from my store to match. Butterflies are always the last embellishments I add to my pages. I feel they just complete the page.

Here is my page based on the August Sketch. I used on photo instead of three small.....I'm a one photo scrapper :)
I handmade the vine to go around the top half of the circle and just glued the Petaloo flowers to the leaves. The butterflies, Nautical Romance, are from my Etsy Shop.

This is the monthly sketch. Be sure to enter our sketch challenge open to all!

Here is the amazing Main Kit

And check out these coordinating add ons that perfectly compliment our August scrapbook kit!

So, let's get started! Make sure to leave a comment on all of the blogs for a chance to win!!!
